Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PawTrek (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Big Bespoke LLC (“we,” “us”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PawTrek is a software platform that assists law enforcement K9 handlers with deployment reporting, training documentation, case law research, and related professional activities. The Service includes mobile applications (iOS, Android), a web dashboard, and cloud-based processing.
3. AI-Generated Content
PawTrek uses artificial intelligence to assist with report writing. AI-generated narratives, field extractions, and case law suggestions are drafts intended to assist the handler. The handler is the author of record on all reports and is responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before submission.
AI-generated content should not be relied upon as legal advice. Case law citations are sourced from verified databases (CourtListener, Harvard Caselaw Access Project) but should be independently verified for current applicability in your jurisdiction.
PawTrek includes an AI disclosure flag on all reports that used AI assistance, in compliance with applicable state disclosure requirements (including California SB 524 and Utah SB 180).
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all reports you create, edit, and submit through PawTrek.
- You must review all AI-generated narratives before submission. AI assists; you author.
- You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies when using the Service.
- You must not use the Service to create false, misleading, or fabricated reports.
5. Subscription & Billing
PawTrek offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires an active subscription at $16.95/month (individual) or $12.00/handler/month (agency, 5+ handlers). Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Upon subscription expiration, your data remains accessible in read-only mode. You may export your data at any time. We will not delete your data due to non-payment without 90 days' written notice.
6. Data Ownership
You own your data. All reports, training logs, photos, audio recordings, GPS tracks, and other content you create through PawTrek belongs to you and your agency. We do not claim ownership of any user-generated content.
You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.
7. Data Security
We implement security measures consistent with CJIS Security Policy v6.0 guidelines, including multi-factor authentication, session timeouts, audit logging, encryption, and US-only data residency. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
8. Limitation of Liability
PawTrek is a documentation assistance tool. We are not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated narratives, case law applicability, legal outcomes, or decisions made based on information provided through the Service. The handler is responsible for all professional and legal judgments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Bespoke LLC's total liability for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. PawTrek includes offline functionality so critical features (report creation, training logging, GPS tracking) continue to work without an internet connection.
10. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for more than 12 months, with 30 days' written notice.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
